frequently asked questions

Q: How long does it take to get the repairs completed?

A: Usually it takes our team around 7 to 10 days to complete each job. Keep in mind there are other factors that are out of our control, such as waiting for insurance approval or parts to be delivered that could delay completion time.
Q: My insurance recommends one of their preferred body shops, is it mandatory for me to have them repair my vehicle?

A: No. You have the freedom to choose any shop to repair your vehicle. At Hail Council, we stand behind our work; a limited lifetime warranty comes with our repairs.
Q: What about my deductible?

A: Our hail repair program offers deductible savings since we are a private shop and do not give insurance companies discounts on labor or parts. Beforehand we need to ensure that your vehicle has enough damages for us to pass the savings on to you. Give us a call to see if you qualify.
Q: I do not have rental reimbursement on my policy, can you still provide me with a rental car?

A: We certainly can. We work with leading car rental agencies and can arrange one with no money out of pocket expense. If you do have rental reimbursement, we simply have your insurance company cover the rental car.
Q: What is a supplement?

A: A supplement is any additional part or labor needed to complete a vehicle’s repair that was not included in the original insurance estimate. Supplements are billed to the insurance company directly.
Q: Do you have any referral incentives?

A: Yes. Our past customers naturally will recommend their family, friends, neighbours, or coworkers to us. We give $100 for each vehicle that we fix for a complete hail repair.
Q: What is Paintless Dent Removal?

A: Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) describes a method of removing dents from the body of a vehicle by using specialized tools while keeping the paint surface intact. This method can be used on steel and aluminum panels. Common uses for PDR include hail damage, door dings, minor creases, large dents, and bodyline damage.
